Modify Default Administration Email Address 

Hi Everyone! If you have deployed your website in Google Cloud Platform and using Bitnami's Wordpress version. You are trying to change the default administration email address user@example.com via WordPress admin panel and get some message "This address is used for admin purposes. If you change this we will send you an email at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed".

You'll not get a confirmation email at your respective mail id. So, don't worry, you could change the default email id using bnconfig tool by running some command.

Please follow the below steps to Modify The Default Administration Email Address in Bitnami's Wordpress

1. Log in to your Google Cloud Platform by entering your login email id and password.
2. Go to Google cloud platform dashboard.
3. Under Compute Engine click on go to Compute Engine.
   
   
4. Under VM Instances find SSH and click on it. You'll connect with SSH Server.
5. Run this command "sudo /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/bnconfig --usermail YOUR_MAIL"
   
   
   
   Please note that you need to substitute the placeholder YOUR_MAIL with your actual mail account.
6. Your email has been changed now. 
7. To confirm, go to Wordpress admin panel and refresh the page.
